Hello and welcome to the Tri Nomina blog! Tri Nomina is the Latin word for 3-names. Each Roman usually had 3 parts to their name just like we have a first, middle and last name. The first part of the Tri Nomina is the Praenomen. The second is the Nomen and the last is Cognomen or Agnomen depending on the name.
